In my memories, Fudan University that left me the first mark was on March 15, 2001. It happened to be no classes in the afternoon of the day. I was seized by a whim to go to Fudan University campus. Thereupon two of my classmates and me gained a superficial understanding through cursory observation together to visit Fudan campus. The most impressed me was that Fudan University students called the avenue in the front of the third teaching building Fudan’s “Nanjing Road”. Since the avenue was the most widest road on Fudan campus at that period of time.

In my early youthood, Fudan University was my yearning goal. Nevertheless, on account of many a reason, my dream melted into thin air. However, I believed that when I footed into Fudan University, I would be a member of Fudan students. During the three years of studying at SSPU (Shanghai Second Polytechnic University), I went all out to learn anything and attained fruitful harvests. My awards at SSPU were as follows:
Labour Activist Award in 2000;
Silver Award of Web-page Construction at 1st SSPU Computer Operation Contest in 2001;
Festival Logo Design Contest at 1st Campus Cuture & Arts Festival at Baoshan Campus of SSPU in 2001;
3rd class Scholarship Award at 2nd semester from 2000 to 2001;
3rd class Award at Economy Paper Contest in 2002;
1st class Scholarship at SSPU in 2002;
The Premier University Graduate in Shanghai in 2003.

On February 14, 2004 I stepped into Fudan University campus once more, and I was much too curious and thrilled to be a student member of Fudan University. I was unforgettable that college-opening ceremony had taken place at new Yifu Science & Technology Building. All the new students besides me were sitting silently in very comfortable and spacious meeting hall. For one thing, we listened to university leader’s speech and Professor Huang Guanfu’s impromptu talk; for another, we got the sight of new student delegate Jia Xuemei’s marvelous speech. All the speakers today made me come to realize that Fudan University is the Ivory Tower of possessing a great number of talents. They were worth my studying and admired a lot. At the end of the college-opening ceremony I was also first time to hear the University Song of Fudan.

The year 2005 is going to be Fudan University’s 100th Anniversary. During the two years of studying at Distant Learning College of Fudan University, I will make more efforts to learn anything. And I will advance along the 100th Anniversary and create my former fruit one more time. Today I ‘m proud of being a Fudan student and tomorrow Fudan definitely takes pride in my harvest.
